Harley sells MV Agusta to former owner

Harley-Davidson Inc. has sold its Italian motorcycle division, MV Agusta, to its former owner, Claudio Castiglioni.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Harley bought MV Agusta in 2008 for about $109 million.

The Italian company produces a line of premium sport motorcycles under its brand and a line of lightweight bikes under the Cagiva brand.
